This recession has taken a toll on the Building Contractor. I know of contractors that had 40 employees and are down to 10 people because new
housing construction is not what it used to be. This does not mean that
we are going to see Independent Contractors go completely under many of
them have sizable reserves and will be around for a long time.
This have produced an influx of quality people into our business and
there are a lot of Home Builder Contractors that are doing very well in
this business some of them on their first year. More about this new business later in this
article, specially on the second page, this new business is very low
cost and has a tremendous upside potential.
Definition of a Contractor - A person with a formal
contract to do a specific job, supplying labor and materials and
providing and overseeing staff if needed.
By looking at the definition of a Home Building Contractor and even
interior designers we might gain an insight as to why they may be so
successful in this new business, it might be due to their experience in
over seeing many details at once and long years of managing their
business.
What ever the case might be they are doing very well in their new
endeavor and once the economy picks up I’m sure they will do very good
at both businesses their old Building Contractor and their new business.
